All of The Dragonfly Inn's unique rooms embrace understated luxury and are finished with Tansu-style vanities, river rock counters, tubs that fill from the ceiling, and Japanese kimono and obi decorations. We have given great attention to detail in every room so that you will leave The Dragonfly Inn with memories to last a lifetime.

The Innkeepers

Robert, lived and worked in Japan as an advertising agency art director for Ketchum Communications. During his time in Japan, where he worked for clients such as Suntory Whiskey, Imperial Hotel, Japan Airlines and Asahi, Bob developed a love for the Japanese culture and traditions. Bob moved to the San Juan Island in 2002 from Mill Valley, California. It was his lifelong dream to create a bed and breakfast inspired by Japan's luxurious ryokan inns.

Linda has extensive experience in the hospitality and food industry. She has owned and operated both restaurants and catering/event companies. Most recently, she has been the Director of Catering for a large college in the San Francisco area.
